The Fresh Start
After a fifteen year career in public education, soaring class sizes, and absenteeism leadership, Emily Williams found herself searching for more. She began reaching out to our team and was able to secure a position. That was in 2013 and she has never looked back! She loves the flexibility, supportive leadership, and lifestyle of being a BWA teacher.
The SaVVY Vet
Jodi Coleman is one of our amazing teachers who started her career here back in 2013. In her time with Baker Web Academy she has been a Lead Teacher and is now the Staff Support Specialist. She is an elementary teacher who plays a huge role in our Willamette Valley and Elementary teams.
THe NEW LOVE
Ellery came to BWA from a long line of public school experience as well as running her own home school co-op for years. With this great blend of experience, Ellery recognized what BWA was offering and had to be a part of our team. She is now the Lead Teacher for the Southern Region and loving her work here! Here is what Ellery had to say,
"As a long-time homeschooling mom I found that every one of my children had a different learning style-after all they are all different people. Over the years I tried to push my kids into one-style-fits-all methods with tons of failures along the way. Then I found Baker Web Academy. The layout and design of Baker is to help YOU create a unique learning environment for each one of your children (whether you have one, or five like me). They tailor the curriculum in every subject to every child, create a road map for you as the teacher, then act as your advisor to help you along the way. To say I love the layout of BWA is an understatement-I love it so much that I now work for them."
